Ruin and Rising is one of the books I'm most looking forward to this year because of the wonderfulness that was Shadow and Bone. Though I haven't read the second one due to my fear of cliff-hangers and lack of preparing for the emotions to come, I am really looking forward to it because I heard there was this completely swoon-worthy guy being introduced that may or may not be Sturmhond. 

This is the type of series that has you loving the bad guys just as much as the good ones. Although The Darkling absolutely creeps me out and I hope he dies or at least ends up in a very secure jail because if he turns out to have the same effect as Warner, I might not be able to handle the feels. Though I prefer him so much more as a evil villain then a potential love interest. It could change though. It could change. I really don't think I want it to change though. 

I'm Team Mal because he's nice and not creepy and I like him a lot. I'm sure I'll love Sturmhond too of course. The Darkling should just remain the scary person he was in the first book so I won't have to fret that much over Alina's love life and who she'll choose because we all know that is giving me all the stress already. I DO NOT NEED MORE.

I really am excited for Ruin and Rising though! I needs it. Now. Give it to me.

This is a series dedicated to Levi and so if you hear obnoxious screaming I'm afraid that is me fangirling. Did you guys know that there's a light novel of this series and I really hope it gets translated too one day because it has Levi in it and is therefore amazing. (#badlogic) I have two of the Aria magazines where chapters were released (I wish I had all of them because Leviiiiiiii <3) and the special edition of the Japanese version of this manga and it is not going to be enough until I can pet the English version and read it a million times. Because it's Levi. And there's Erwin. And this is their back story.
