|WAITING ON WEDNESDAY| Silver Shadows by Richelle Mead & No. 6 Volume 6 (17)

Waiting on Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Jill @ Breaking the Spine. It is a way to spotlight books that have yet to be released and it is awesome and you should join. COME OVER TO THE DARK SIDE.

My book pick of the week is…

Silver Shadows (#5)
Release Date: July 29th, 2014
Publisher: Razorbill
Pages: 416

Sydney Sage is an Alchemist, one of a group of humans who dabble in magic and serve to bridge the worlds of humans and vampires. They protect vampire secrets—and human lives.

In The Fiery Heart, Sydney risked everything to follow her gut, walking a dangerous line to keep her feelings hidden from the Alchemists.

Now in the aftermath of an event that ripped their world apart, Sydney and Adrian struggle to pick up the pieces and find their way back to each other. But first, they have to survive.

For Sydney, trapped and surrounded by adversaries, life becomes a daily struggle to hold on to her identity and the memories of those she loves. Meanwhile, Adrian clings to hope in the face of those who tell him Sydney is a lost cause, but the battle proves daunting as old demons and new temptations begin to seize hold of him. . . .

Their worst fears now a chilling reality, Sydney and Adrian face their darkest hour in this heart-pounding fifth installment in the New York Times bestselling Bloodlines series, where all bets are off.
I am honestly not above crying or pleading for this book, because I NEED IT. All of the Sydrian feels, dear. All of the feels. If you haven't read at least the Vampire Academy series, I CAN NO LONGER LOOK AT YOU THE SAME. *cries and runs away* *runs back briefly to scream at you nicely to read them* Tehee. *innocent smile*

My manga pick of the week is…

NO. 6; Volume 6
Release Date: April 15th, 2014
Publisher: Kodansha Comics
Pages: 176

A series of strange incidents cast a pall over No. 6 as it prepares to celebrate its "Holy Day." Meanwhile, in the tunnels beneath the Correctional Facility, Shion and Rat meet with the mysterious "Elder," who reveals the perverse origins of No. 6, and their connection to Rat's past. How will Rat react when Shion begins to touch his most secret scars?

I really like the covers for this series, and the way the set looks together is definitely one of my favorites on my manga bookshelves. I can't wait for the series to be finished releasing so I can pet them with love. And of course read them, but petting is the priority as always because I'm a strange child. <3

  1. Ooh the cover of Silver Shadows is pretty! I haven't read a single one of Richelle's books, and I was planning to read VA in preparation for the movie, but I feel like no one's really been excited about the movie and nobody really loved it that much so it's still on the back burner lol. Great pick!
